At the outset we must issue a warning - snooker is a highly addictive, sociable and competitive sport. Please do not attempt to take it up unless you enjoy spending 2 to 3 hours once or twice a week with your mates having a great night out and forgetting all about the ‘other stuff’ in your world.
The game is particularly unsuitable for those of a miserable nature!
Welcome to the Homepage for the Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League.
Please browse the site and contact us.
The league was created in the 1950’s by and for local players and the 2008-9 season marks the 58th in our illustrious and very well documented snooker history.
The league Headquarters are in Mobberley, Cheshire and members clubs are currently sited within a 4 mile radius of there in the surrounding towns and villages of Knutsford, Morley, Shaw Heath, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Mere.

The Knutsford & District Amateur snooker league has an interesting and unique range of competitions competed for annually.
There is the ‘obvious’ Team Knock Out competition involving every team; a Scratch individual competition called the ‘Jay Trophy’; the ‘Rotary Cup’ which is a Handicap individual; the ‘Bert Astles Memorial Pairs’; the ‘Surridge Sport’ 3 player team comp; the ‘Taylor Trophy’ which is an over 55’s own competition and the sponsored Redwood Hire Champion where each team champion plays others in their own division and then for the overall title. A real range for members.
