The division one title is, by definition, the most prestigious team title in the league.
In an average year each team will have played 28 hard fought games in order to seal their championship. The league records detail all the past post holders.
The league records contain several mentions of multiple winners of the title - Mobberley with 18 titles - the team with the most 400+ league match team scores in one (28 games) season: Mobberley A in the 2007-8 season with 10 such scores.
We also have the record for the highest points for a 28 game season (155 by Mobberley A as above) and the highest total team points in frames in a season (10,937) at an average of an incredible 390 points per game.
Then there is the small matter of the awesome Shaw Heath team that won 11 titles in 14 seasons from 1982 to 1996. The Shaw Heath team not only became one of the few teams to actually retain the title but retained it for 9 seasons on the run.
