The Knutsford & District Amateur Snooker League prides itself on it’s open and accountable style. All members are welcome to attend any meeting and voice (through their club representative at that meeting) their views and opinions.
Indeed, the current Secretary was instrumental in introducing a rule a few seasons ago which on the face of it, appeared to be aimed at penalising clubs failing to attend meetings of the league. The rule does, in fact, do exactly that - but clubs have come to learn that the actual purpose of the rule was to ensure that all clubs are present at meetings to determine the future of their league.
Change has to come from within - not outside - any organisation and the Management Meetings and the active participation of all the member clubs is key to that progress.
The Annual General Meeting of the league is held as soon as possible after the conclusion of each season and is combined with the annual presentation evening and buffet.
The league prides itself on being open to scrutiny by it’s members and the AGM minutes (as with the regular Management Meeting minutes) are circulated to all on the league email system as well as being published on this web site.
